It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Weldon Sr. of Meigs, Georgia, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Weldon and Virginia Perkins Weldon; and his siblings, Earl Weldon, Carolyn Gay, Ivan Weldon and Donnie Weldon.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Lynne Casteloes Weldon; his children, Britney Yawn (Hugh) and Bobby Weldon, Jr. (Trinity); his grandchildren, Tyler Yawn, Leah Yawn, Sadie Yawn, Halle Yawn, Abel Yawn, Asher Weldon and Adrienne King; his siblings, Jerry Weldon (Ann), Linda Willis (Bobby), Barbara Benton, Vickie Carlton (Randall) and Josh Taylor (Nikki); and his nieces and nephews, Haidyn, Piper and Killian. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Moultrie Church of Christ (1915 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
