It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William C. Gardner of Meansville, Georgia, born in Port Chester, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Gardner (Becker) and Carlton Owen Gardner; his sister-in-law Joan Bishop; and his nephew William Maddox. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bishop Byrd-Gardner; his children, Ron Byrd (April), Denise Gardner, Bill Gardner Jr. (Kristen), Rachel Byrd Webber (Brad), Mandy Lyons, Laurie Parker (Rodney) and John Bouquio (Mercedes); his grandchildren, Jeff Janney, Cailee Colegrove, Savannah Byrd, Leah Wright (Braxton), McKenzie Byrd, Jenna Gardner, Walker Webber, Collin Willoughby and Jonah Lyons; his sister Carolyn Blanchard (Beep); his siblings-in-law, Hugh "Sonny" Bishop and June Bishop; and his nieces and nephews, Joel Bishop, Chad Bishop, Bart Blanchard, Kathleen Campbell, Kelly Ferrin and Kerri Isern. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital or the Church Gathering in Thomaston.
