He is survived by: his wife Alicia Martinez Gibson; his sons, James Wayne "Jamie" Gibson, Jr. (Brynn) of Charleston, SC and Jason Horton (Jessica) of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Tristan Gibson (Trista), Tanner Gibson, Brayden Horton and Mallory Horton; his great grandchild Delilah Marie Gibson; his parents, Barbara Hood of Thomaston and James Gibson (Jean) of Meansville; his siblings, Keith Gibson of Bayside, FL and Amanda Slade (Hunt) of Griffin; and his nephew Ira Slade of Griffin.
