He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Felton Powers and Beulah Mae Gossett Powers; and his siblings, Essie Mae Martin, Sam and Tyler Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Powers; his daughter Lynda; his son-in-law Edward Sisson of Griffin; his son Gordon; his daughter-in-law Missy Powers of Meansville; and his grandchildren, Jared, Luke Sisson, Parker, Carson, Bailey and Landon Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
