He is survived by: his wife Velda McElwaney; his children, Karen Medina of Zebulon and Benny; his daughter-in-law Jennifer McElwaney of Milner; his grandchildren, Jerry, Addy, Macey, Sophia and Serenity; and his nephew Steven Crawford. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
