It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Jones of Meansville, Georgia, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Leonard Doan, Sr. and Catherine Grace Shannon Doan; her husband Douglas Edward "Ed" Jones, Sr.; and her sister Kathryn Scoville. She is survived by: her children, Patti Maxedon (Ben), Doug Jones and Leland Jones (Gandy); and her grandchildren, Kris Pope (Kendra), Shannon Turner (Brian), Carlos Maxedon (Zory), Javier Maxedon, Rafael Maxedon, Cisco Maxedon, Tatum Jones, Bayly Jones, Tasha Creamer (Ricci), Michelle Jones, Brittany Agnew (Jesse), David Romero, Maria Jones and Leila Jones. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
