It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edmond Anthony Gassett of Meansville, Georgia, born in Thomaston, Georgia, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis Gassett and Elsie Rogers Gassett. He is survived by: his wife Jean Crutchfield Gassett of Meansville; his children, Faye Nixon (Billy Castles) of Molena, Eddie Peterson (Jennifer) of Pike County, Rodney Peterson (Clarissa) of Pike County and Robert Peterson (Deann) of Meansville; and his siblings, Don Gassett of Thomaston, Lavelle Killingsworth of Meansville and Martha Jo Fallin of Thomaston. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
