He is survived by: his wife Vera Alice Thames; his sons, William Robert Thames (Donna) of Hawkinsville, Anthony Bruce Thames (Clara) of McRae and Kenneth Richmond Thames (Trisha) of Fitzgerald; and his half-siblings, Chris Hammock of St. Mary's, Richard Dixion of Hixson, TN, Billie G. McAllister of Charleston, TN, Billie Stewart of Millersville, MD, Linda Kidwell of Chattanooga, TN, Deborah White of Bowie, MD and Lisa Drummond of Newnan.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Memorial Gardens (164 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281).
