She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Spires and Rosa Jones Spires; and her former husband J. B. Rhudy. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Doyal Connell of McRae; her children, Rosemary Rhudy Minor (Wayne) of Columbus, Cindy Rhudy Myers (Tim) of Dublin and Robert Connell (Lori) of McRae; her grandchildren, Layne Minor, Jody Minor, Victoria Jett, Jessica Williamson, Brooke Passmore, Anna Grace Myers, Lacey Connell, Landon Connell and Lee Connell; and her great grandchildren, Kylie Minor, Kamryn Minor, Kaden Minor, Maverick Williamson, Mattie Jett, Emery Jett and Thalon Passmore.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home (107 E Oak St, McRae-Helena, GA 31055). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (107 E Oak St, McRae-Helena, GA 31055).
