With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maude McVey of McRae, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard S. McVey; her son Jerry H. McVey; her parents, Silas M. Hart and Lula C. Hart; her son-in-law Claude F. Vaughn; and her siblings, Emory L. Hart, Sr., Annie Sandler and Minnie Denning.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Vickers (Wayne) of McRae, GA; her daughter-in-law Barbara McVey of Crestview, FL; her grandchildren, Lori DeFore (Buddy) of Tarrytown, GA, Gary Vickers (Nita) of McRae, GA, Michael McVey (Amber) of Temple, GA, Jennifer Bussard (Derek) of Crestview, FL, Scott Thomas and Donald Smith of Pensacola, FL; her great grandchildren, Emmalee Jones (Glen), Bobby Lee Landmesser, Rusty Williams, Chandler Vickers, Laila Vickers, Bobby Landmesser, Jr., Rex Williams, Jr., Christopher McMillan, Jacob McVey (Jodee), Brandon McVey, Tyler Bussard, Kylie Bussard and Elaina Bussard; and her siblings-in-law, J. D., Denning, Frank McVey, Dorothy McVey, Elizabeth Kinnett and Betty J. Smith (Bud).
