Lofton Haymons Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lofton Haymons of McRae, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Haymons and Zimmie Odom Haymons; his wife Murlene Cheek Haymons; his son Steven Lofton Haymons; and his siblings, Vivian, Buford, Susan, Lucian, Jr., Verbie, LeRoy, Leila Belle "Polly", Herschel and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Elizabeth Haymons of McRae and Jeffery Denver Haymons (Paige) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Meredith Dixon (Tucker), Beth Bethea (Alan), Brad Haymons, Laura Scott (Kevin), Morgan Haymons and Finley Haymons; his great grandchildren, Drew Dixon, Ava Dixon, Carter Dixon, George Scott, Amelia Scott and Andrew Scott; his nieces, Bobbie Jean Harrington (Vernon) and Sue Ellen Singletary; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Cain Haymons.
