With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sadie Tanner Montgomery of McIntyre, Georgia, born in Oconee, Georgia, who passed away on July 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Lee Tanner; her husband Richard C. Montgomery; her son Steve Montgomery; and her daughter-in-law Jeanna Montgomery. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Montgomery of McIntyre and Tim Montgomery (Cheree) of Birmingham, AL; her daughter-in-law Sandra Montgomery of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Jessica Elliott (Rusty), Kelly Montgomery (Brandi), Justin Montgomery (Adrienne), Zach Montgomery (Hannah), Kimberly Smith (Matt) and Macy Garland (Anthony); and her great grandchildren, Lucy Elliott, Luke Elliott, Ivey Montgomery, Tanner Montgomery, Ellie Montgomery, Caroline Smith, Sadie Montgomery, Juliette Montgomery, Thea Montgomery, Wyatt Garland, Dylan Garland, Clara Jane Montgomery and Audrey Kate Montgomery.
