She was predeceased by: her parents, Idella Chapman and Lucious Wells; her husband Oather Prosser (Sam); her daughters, Loretta, Delois, Tonia and Veronica; and her brother Willie Wells.
She is survived by: her adoptive son Arthur Prosser; her children, Linda, Tony, Cassandra, Rose Hands (Xavier), Mary Cowan, Drs, Billy Prosser (Sandra), Samuel Prosser (Louise) and Arthur Prosser (Linda); her daughter-in-law Leslie Prosser; her grandchildren, Lee Antwan Smith and Tracie Prosser; her goddaughters, Flossie Harden and Annie Lou Howell; her sister-in-law Thomas Wells (Ida); and her sisters, Pauline Wells, Irene Wells and Carolyn Wells. She is also survived by 70 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren; a devoted brother.
