He is survived by: his children, Rusty, Jennifer Strawn, Susan and Whit Echols; his grandchildren, McKenzie, Addison Price, Taylor, Carson Spears, Anna Strawn, Bo, Caroline Echols, Molly Echols and Sergio Morales; his great grandchildren, Whit Allen Echols, Miller Kaye Echols, Wilson Fleet Price and Holley Baisch Spears; his siblings, Danny Strawn and Lynda Gayle Strawn; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy and Marie King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to First Baptist Church of McDonough.
