She was predeceased by: her husbands, Truman Joseph Thacker and Herbert Mikel; and her brother Juan Ballares. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth M. Thacker (L. Z. Richardson); her granddaughter Kynadee Thacker-Richardson; and her siblings, Boi Ballares, Arthur Ballares, Mike Ballares, Adi Ballares, Connie Ballares and Baby Ballares. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lighthouse Hospice.
