He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathy Davis; his parents, Joseph C. Minton and Jenny B. Minton; and his brothers, Lewis Minton and Charles Minton.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Minton; his daughters, Karen Minton of McDonough and Kelli Foster of Jonesboro; his sister Gloria Britt of Snellville; his sister-in-law Joyce Foster of McDonough; his grandchildren, Katie Griffin, Will Davis (Taylor), Megan Filippou (Nick), Blake Foster and Andrew Foster; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Jayce, Raelynn, Sophia, Nolan and Ashtyn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
