He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Charles Bloomer and Patsy Lou Harris Bloomer. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Tant Bloomer; his sons, Jonathan Bloomer (Lisa) and Jared Bloomer; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Nathan and Aubree Bloomer. He is also survived by one sister and two brothers; as well as several nieces, nephews.
