He is survived by: his father Richard Hugh Deaton Sr.; his wife Angela Deaton; his children, Nicholas Deaton (Mariah), Kathryn Hammond (Mikey) and Jacquelyn Brown (Cody); his grandchildren, Luke Thompson and Grayson Thompson; his sister Melissa Justice (Timothy); and his sister-in-law Sandra Simpson (Greg).
