Paul Lee Obituary

Paul Lee, age 70, of McDonough, Georgia was called home on Thursday, June 1, 2023. He was born on December 17, 1952, in Atlanta Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Phillip Lee, from South Carolina, and Dollie Dobson Lee, from Atlanta.

Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He honorably served our country in the United States Air Force from 1972 until 1976, proudly defending our nation during the Vietnam War. He ultimately began a career as an Automotive Master Mechanic, receiving his ASE Certification and his ASE Master Mechanic Certification in 1981. He spent a lot of his working career with Toyota from 1981-1997. He was the best handyman and he enjoyed fixing anything he could. He loved to cook, spend time with his family, and playing with his fur children, Jimmi, Hiti, and Deya.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sandie J. Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jacqueline Mercer, daughter, Jennifer Mercer, son, Paul Dillon Lee, and son, Jacob Kenneth Lee. Paul really loved his grandchildren, Olivia Mercer, Bentley Lowe, and August Poore. He also is survived by his siblings, Gwen Lee and Darris Lee.
