He was predeceased by: his parents, O. T. Thrasher and Gussie Mae Thrasher; and his siblings, Homer Thrasher, JoAnn Stoner, Leroy Thrasher, Richard Thrasher and Lamar Thrasher.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thrasher; his children, Gina Denton (Rusty), Connie Steele (Grant) and Mike Dove (Judy); his grandchildren, Miki Wilkerson, Britt Dove, Kyle Denton and Bailey Denton; his great grandchildren, Brooke Dove and Lacey Denton; and his sisters, Cathy Israel and Marlene Thrasher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors (2580 GA-42, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
