She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson William Duncan and Sadie Elizabeth Hinton Duncan; and her siblings, Arthur Duncan, Walter Duncan, Elton Duncan and Elma Branch.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Pierce; her children, Steve Pierce (Teresa) of Griffin, GA and Lesa Cunningham (Joe) of Greeneville, TN; and her siblings, Reba Alexander of Charlotte, NC, Bobby Bookout of Charlotte, NC, Glenn Duncan of Enid, OK and Jerry Duncan of Ninety Six, SC.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
