It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael William Pierce Sims of McDonough, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Jody Sims; his uncle Jay Pierce; and his pet Cosmo. He is survived by: his father Charles Sims; his stepmother Patti Collum of Hampton; his sister Emeli Bankston; his nephew Pierce Bankston of McDonough; his uncle Danny Sims; and his aunt Jackie Wells. He is also survived by extended family, and many friends.
