She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur John Tildsley and Alice Elizabeth Hull Tildsley; and her husband Emery "Bud" Grant Swindell Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Gail DeLettre (David) and Paul Swindell (Amy); her grandchildren, Joshua Swindell (Robin), Grant DeLettre, Christopher Swindell and Natalie Swindell; her great grandchild Morgan Swindell; and her sisters, Mary Tildsley Dooley, Patricia Tildsley Dyke (Doug) and Katherine Tildsley Mills. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lorraine's memory to St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, continuing her legacy of compassion and service; or the Southern Grace Hospice Foundation in McDonough.
