He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Meredith and Anne Mae Self Meredith; and his siblings, Velma Gay, Florris Holder and William Meredith.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burnham Meredith; his children, Ann Rourk (Russell) of McDonough, GA and James Meredith (Tonya) of McDonough, GA; his grandchildren, Lauren Rourk, Jacob Rourk, Joshua Rourk, Logan Meredith and Ryland Meredith; and his sister Evelyn Harrell.
