It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine A. Brantley (McDonough, Georgia), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David F. Turpen and Shirly J. Turpen; and her brothers, Johnny Turpen and Gene Turpen. She is survived by: her husband Gerald M. Brantley; her children, Gerald M. Brantley and Jeshua C. Turpen; her daughter-in-law Julie A. Brantley; her grandson Hayden D. Lafollete; her brother Drew Turpen; and her siblings-in-law, Connie A. Cox, Deborah J. Gardner and Douglas M. Brantley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Southern Cremations & Funerals (640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
