He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Freeman and Jean Freeman; his brothers, Greg Freeman and Jay Freeman; and his grandparents, Allene Freeman, J. C. and Verdun Thackston.
He is survived by: his daughter Miranda Freeman (Jordan Recor); the mother of his child Renee Jewah; his stepchildren, Amber Cox (Chris) and Scotty Kirk; his grandchildren, Millie, Haley, Macey, Maxine, Brooks and Banks; his aunt Sue Norton (Randal); and his cousins, Tracie Bresnahan (Brian) and Amy Gay.
