He is survived by: his sons, James Sims Sr. and Jeff Sims (Marsha); his grandchildren, Janie Sims (Arnold), Cliff Sims (Brandy), Jason Wingard (Shelley), Jody Wingard, Brittney, Hunter, Alexis, McKinley, Hadley, Rebekah, Luke, Hannah and Caleb; and his great great grandchild Ysabelle. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Locust Grove City Cemetery.
