He was predeceased by: his mother Jerry Dean Sewell (Jeri); and his niece Rachel Shaw. He is survived by: his father Joseph Franklin Sewell; his children, Joseph Lee Sewell, Ashton Mendez Sewell, Tiffany (Michael Rozier) and Keli (Jared Flowers); his stepchildren, Jane B. Montoya, Dylan Boone and John P. Montoya; and his sisters, Milli Carlisle (Bruce Kosche), Rhonda (Raymond Shaw) and Tracy (David Everitt). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
