She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McClendon and Eloise Hammock McClendon; her husband Julian Cecil Hand, Jr.; and her granddaughter Jacqueline Alexandria "Alex" Hand. She is survived by: her son Mitchell Cecil Hand (Jackie); her grandson Mitchell Cade Hand; and her siblings, Thomas McClendon (Sally), Sandra Matthews (Johnny), H. C. McClendon (Wanda) and Nora Singley (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church or other charity of choice in memory of Mrs. Hand.
