He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Tammy Hernandez and Wesley Watkins; his grandchildren, Emily Jones (James) and Alex Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Mikel Gabriel Jones and Nikolas Ledger Jones; his siblings, John Watkins of Elizabethton, TN and Carrie Lee Campbell of Richmond, VA; and his cousin Robert Mottern (Kegley).
