She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Meier and Agnes Swain Meier; her brother John Henry Meier; her husband Ewell Lacy Satterfield; her daughter Cynthia Marie Burdette; and her brother Herman F. Meier.
She is survived by: her great grandchild Silas Jaxon Burdette; her children, Michael E. Gresham (Jane) and Elaine G. Huffschmidt (Frank); and her stepchildren, John David Satterfield (Michelle) and Debra S. Price (Ron). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Hazel M. Satterfield be made to First Christian Church Jonesboro, 2272 Walt Stevens Rd., Jonesboro, GA 30236.
