He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bowen and Tommie Lou Bowen (Shambley); and his wife Mary Elizabeth Bowen (LeFever). He is survived by: his children, Gunnar Bowen (Vonda) of McDonough, Jamie Bowen of McDonough and Lane Reese (David) of Newnan; his siblings, Kenneth Bowen, Bobby Bowen (Alena) of Fl, Jean Price and Martha Ann Clayton; his sisters-in-law, Glenda Bowen-Hutchins, Lois Tannar, Kathy Colburn (Barry) and Carol Oliver; his grandchildren, Heather Bowen, Haley Bowen, Garrett Bowen, Jake Reese, Ethan Reese and Walker Reese; his great grandchild Addy Lee Bowen; and his pet Chewy.
