It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Neal Marchbanks of McDonough, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ann Baker; his children, Matt (Amy) of Cazenovia and Lynn Cooper (William) of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Elisabeth Stratford (Maclay), Ryan, Kennedy and Cason Marchbanks; his children, Joshua, Emily and Abigail Cooper; his brother Paul Marchbanks (Nancy) of Douglasville; his nephews, Tim Marchbanks (Cheryl), Bill Baker (Anita) and Erik Baker (Miriam); and his sister-in-law Carol Heirs. He is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews.
