It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Tomlin Sims of McDonough, Georgia, born in Newton, Georgia, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orien Tomlin and Lulline Tomlin; her husband James Sims; and her siblings, Mildred Smith, Cornelia Smith, Clark Tomlin Sr. and Edgar Tomlin.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Sims (Barbara) and Cindi Palmer; her grandchildren, Matt Sims (Antoinette), Josh Sims (Emina), Brittany Amerson and Chad Palmer; and her great grandchildren, Ciara, Maddy, Luke Sims, Gavin, Bryley, Brayden and Brooklynn Amerson.
