She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hunsicker and Ethel Hunsicker; and her grandmother Mary Elizabeth Stine of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Charles C. Gardner; her daughter Melanie Elizabeth Harrison; her son-in-law Eric Bestrom; her granddaughter Anneli Elizabeth Bestrom of Minnesota; her stepson Charles Gardner (Shannon Gardner); her stepgrandchild Zach; her son William Harrison of Mississippi; and also Kerry Hunsicker of South Carolina.
