With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Knowles (McDonough, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Knowles and Clara Lee Knowles; his former wife Dora Faye Knowles; and his siblings, Bernard Knowles Jr. and Sybil McElroy.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Knowles; and his daughters, Melody Lee Johns, Melinda Vernon (Michael), Eydie Callan (Joe) and Kitty Schultz (Elmo). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces nephews.
