He was predeceased by: his brother Phillip Hemphill; and his father John Carpenter. He is survived by: his daughter Dakota Hemphill of Forsyth, GA; his mother Linda Carpenter of McDonough; his brother Kevin Hemphill of Newnan; his grandson Lukas; his nephews, Alex, Aaron, Collin and Jacob Hemphill; his niece Kayla Hemphill; his aunt Kathy Mason of Mississippi; and his uncle Amon Sutton of Gainesville, GA..
