He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gail Thacker; his children, Donald Thacker, Daniel Thacker Jr. (Karen) and Ashley Schmidt (Erick); his grandchildren, Brianne Thacker and Jaden Thacker; and his brother Dorsey (Gale).
