She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lee and Gertrude Stroud Jeffares; her husband Carl Shaw Jr.; and her siblings, Charles H. Jeffares and Jean Rowan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Shaw LeNoir (Joe) and LeAnn Shaw; her grandchildren, Lauren LeNoir and Joe LeNoir III (Mckenzie); her sister Renae Watson (Don); and her sister-in-law Beth Miller. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers we ask that a donation be made to either: Jeffares Education Scholarship, with checks made payable to GCSU.
