It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Hammock Jenkins (McDonough, Georgia), born in Locust Grove, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Thaxton and Edna Earl Evans Hammock; and her sister Glenda Frankie Hammock Rosser. She is survived by: her children, Barry Jenkins (Monica) of McDonough, GA and Kim Jenkins of Columbus, GA; her sister Miriam Janet Hammock Long of Big Canoe, GA; her grandchildren, Barry Gene, Andrew Jenkins (Angel) and Heather Jenkins Estes (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Kaleigh Jenkins, Zachary Jenkins, Everett Jenkins, Brantley Jenkins and Madilyn Estes; her nephew Long (Rebecca); and her niece Christina Goodman (Jesse). She is also survived by great nephews and nieces, and many cousins.
