He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Lori Edwards (Phillip) of Holly Springs, NC, Stephanie Benson Williams (Pete LeRoy) of Garner, NC, Jamie Benson (Vince Quattrocchi) of McDonough, GA and Benjamin Benson (Esmerelda) of Los Angeles; his grandchildren, Justin Whitt (Kaely), Daniel Cowan, Kayla Neidwick, Dawson Edwards, Davis Edwards, Dylan Edwards and Nolan Quattrocchi; his sister Margaret Johnson (Frank); and his nephew Clint Johnson (Emily).
