She is survived by: her husband David A. Simmons of McDonough, GA; her children, Glenn Simmons of Ladson, SC and Rosalind Gee of McDonough, GA; her grandchildren, Daniel W. Gee III of McDonough, GA and Jazmin Russell of McDonough, GA; and her siblings, Andrew (Patricia), Rufus Rowell (Gatha) of Burgaw, NC, Nathaniel Rowell of Burgaw, NC, James Rowell (Dyann) of Currie, NC, Jerry Rowell (Sandra) of Leland, NC and Jannie Solomon of New City, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
