It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Boyd Mann of McDonough, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Harvey Hester; her husbands, Elbert Boyd and Sam Mann; her daughter Penny Sanders; and her grandson Jason Holland.
She is survived by: her brother Henry Hester of Riverdale; her children, Bill Boyd (Debbie) of Newnan, Danny Boyd (Renee) of Fayetteville, Kim Holland (Jim) of Jackson and Stacy Jean Stamps (Chris) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Travis Boyd (Ginny) of McDonough, Ryan Boyd (Andie) of Louisville, KY, Ashley Yetter (Justin) of Covington and Shelby Gilreath (Justin) of McDonough; her great grandchildren, Savannah Edmondson (Hunter) of McDonough, Cecilia of McDonough, TJ of McDonough, Hanna Jean Boyd of McDonough, Addie, Teddy Boyd of Louisville, KY, Eli and Anniston Yetter of Covington; and her great great grandchild Beau Edmondson of McDonough.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Jean.
