She was predeceased by: her parents, Liston Henderson and Rotha Pierce Henderson; and her siblings, Elvin, Orlin, Marvin, Harvey, Bertie and Mageline.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Elston; her children, Steve Elston (Michelle), Amanda Newman (Ryan) and James Elston (Mandy); her grandchildren, Michael Elston (Andrea), Jonathan Long (Janice), Adam Elston (Maddie), Morgan Bradford (Dalton), Carter Newman, Sarah Elston, Kyle Elston, Olivia Newman and Sydney Newman; her great grandchild Jaxson Long; her grandchildren, Rhyder Elston, Wyatt Elston, Kylee Elston and Lyllie Elston; and her sisters, Lois Benton and Sadie Sparks. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
