She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Morgan and Sarah Morgan; her husband Gerald Compton; and her sisters, Cherry Shoup, Dell Watford and Donna Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Compton (Debbie) and Cindy Kelly; and her brothers, Marvin Morgan and Ronald Morgan (Janice). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Haisten Chapel (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253).
