Ann Gardner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Gardner (McDonough, Georgia), who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann Gardner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her father Henry Carson Hammock; her husband Samuel Howell Gardner, Jr.; and her siblings, Hazel Hammock Gardner, Bob, Bill Jimmy and Larry Hammock.

She is survived by: her children, Chipper Gardner (Norma) of Milner, Lee Gardner (Judy) of Robbinsville, NC, Beth Floyd (Jeff) of Jackson, Tim Gardner (Kathy) of Macon and Tom Gardner (Lori) of Hampton; her grandchildren, Al Gardner (Nicole) of Milner, Katie Bannister (Corey) of Griffin, Jennifer Carter (Jake) of McDonough, Erin Peters (Justin) of Locust Grove, Luke Gardner (Athena) of Bartlesville, Ansley Glenn (Chris) of Jackson, Linsey Floyd (Paul) of Griffin, Molly Malveaux (Pierre) of Columbus, Whit Gardner of Peachtree City, Wyatt Gardner of Locust Grove and Cole Gardner of Covington; her sisters, Mary Jo Leverette of Locust Grove and Linda Branan (Ed) of Eatonton; and her sisters-in-law, Juanita Hammock of Huntsville, Tommie Hammock of Canton and Clara Hammock of Richland. She is also survived by great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate live plants such as blueberry bushes or hydrangeas which were Ann's favorites or those who wish may make a donation to Eternal Hope Hospice, 123 N 18th Street, Griffin, GA 30223 or to the church of their choice in memory of Ann.
