He was predeceased by: his father Carl Adams; his son Steven Lamar Adams; and his siblings, Jesse Adams, Mae White and Lee Barnette.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Adams; his children, Allison Chambers (Jason) and Ken Wilson (Jenn); his daughter-in-law Brenda Adams; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Emerson Chambers, Ashley Williams and Cara Hall.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the Salem Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or to Sacred Journey Hospice in memory of Mr. Adams.
