She is survived by: her children, Kristen Brown (Tommy Gregory) and Matthew Brown; her grandchildren, Anna-Mae Gregory and Roland Gregory; her siblings, Karen VanZandt and Jeremy York; and her stepsiblings, James Payne and Mary Payne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel (7871 Blue Ridge Dr, Blue Ridge, GA 30513). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
