With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Merrill Bryant of McCaysville, Georgia, born in Haines City, Florida, who passed away on April 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard Merrill leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie D. Bryant and Daisy May Little Bryant; and his daughter Pamela Marie Wortham. He is survived by: his wife Harriette P. Bryant; and his children, Deborah Lynn Williams (Bob) of Oxford, MS, Theresa A. Williams (Mike) of Winter Park, FL and Andrew D. Armstrong (Krysti) of Homer, AK. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Trinity Global Methodist Church or to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
