With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kerry Hicks of McCaysville, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kerry left this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 59, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Will, Willa Mae Hicks, Otis and Virginia Williams; and his sister Melissa Therese Hicks.
He is survived by: his parents, James "Bee" Hicks and Linda Williams Hicks; his wife Cindy; his children, Nolan and Natalie; his sister Melinda Dillard (George); his parents-in-law, Lennie and Carol Green; and his brothers-in-law, Eric Thompson (Ginger) and Jeremy Green. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Homes & Crematories McCaysville Chapel (1478 Blue Ridge Dr, McCaysville, GA 30555). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamstown Methodist Church (37 Williamstown Rd, Mineral Bluff, GA 30559). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (474 Pleasant Hill Rd, Copperhill, TN 37317).
In lieu of flowers, Kerry respectfully requested donations be made to the Williamstown Methodist Church Building Fund at P.O Box 219, McCaysville, GA 30555.
